An exciting opportunity for a costs/enforcement paralegal to join a highly reputable law firm in South Liverpool has arisen. The role is within a multi service firm but mainly specialising in general personal injury and medical negligence, they are highly regarded in their sector and the role is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a new challenge.

The role has arisen following the desire to take away general costs and enforcement duties from fee earners and the successful candidate will act on behalf of the firm in a paralegal position bridging the gap between fee earners and the legal costs department. Day to day duties for such role will include:

  • Managing a caseload of enforcement and recoveries matters
  • Lising with defendant firms and debtors to recover costs
  • General admin duties such as logging incoming funds
  • Leasing with fee earners to update on expected payments
  • Drafting part 8s and default costs certificates

The successful candidate will have at least 1 years experience in a costs or enforcement paralegal role and will ideally be familiar with case management system proclaim.
