Installations Manager

Reporting to the Head of ANPR Operations, this role is responsible for the delivery of all installations and will have responsibility for the running of three separate delivery teams: Tech Install, Civils and Signage. The Installations Manager will be targeted on the safe delivery of ANPR/WPS installations in line with budget expectations with a high proportion of work within the ANPR arena.

Hours:

This role is mainly field based supervising the safe delivery of all UKPC installs. There will be a requirement to be at UKPC’s head office for weekly meetings. General hours of work will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5,30pm (1-hour lunch), but this may vary depending on the business’s needs.

Salary:

Basic £30,000 – £37,500 (subject to the normal deductions)

Performance bonus of upto £5,000 per annum

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Directly managing and supervising three installations teams; Civils, Electrical (tech), and signage
  • Managing and supervising the delivery of all installations in time and in line with strict SLAs
  • Developing install procedures and ensure implementation
  • Oversee the safe implementation of ANPR systems across the UK
  • Closely supervise staff and ensure workload allocated across team
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Experience/knowledge/skills:

  • Proven experience as an Installation Manager or other similar managerial role
  • Must have experience in managing a technical and electrical installations team and have a high understanding of Electrical and Civil Engineering (it would be preferable to be qualified in both e.g. Level 3 NVQ and BTEC Level 3 in construction and built environment)
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of ANPR installations
  • Working knowledge of parking machines and ANPR equipment
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
